An Interim Intermediate Critical Care Stepdown Manager is Needed in Las Vegas, Nevada!

The Position
  • An Interim Intermediate Critical Care Stepdown Manager is needed to provide operational and clinical leadership for a critical care intermediate stepdown unit while ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff engagement.
  • Reports to the Director of Clinical Care.
  • Key responsibilities include determining appropriate staffing levels to achieve organizational goals, participating in unit budget development, monitoring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards, supervising nursing staff, supporting shared governance initiatives, and maintaining alignment with Pathway to Excellence and Magnet standards.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience leading critical care teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment and managing both experienced and newly hired staff. Experience with shared governance models, Pathway to Excellence standards, and Magnet standards is highly preferred. Candidates should be level-headed, approachable, and accountable leaders with strong listening skills and the ability to foster a collaborative culture. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Compensation Details
  • Compensation Range: $165,000 to $175,000 annually.
  • The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
  • The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
