Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Interim Clinical Pharmacy Manager for an acute care hospital in Asheboro, NC. The role focuses on clinical leadership, oversight of inpatient services, and collaboration with physicians and nurses to optimize therapy.

This temporary assignment supports antimicrobial stewardship and regulatory readiness, with about 25% direct staffing coverage and weekday daytime hours. Start date negotiable for a 3+ month engagement.

Formación

• Active North Carolina pharmacist license required.
• PharmD or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Strong inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Clinical leadership/management experience preferred.
• Infectious disease and antimicrobial stewardship experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Meditech and Pyxis preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and support clinical pharmacy services within the hospital.
• Provide clinical leadership to pharmacy staff.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship and ID-related initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing to optimize medication therapy.
• Participate in program development, staff education, and quality improvement.
• Support regulatory compliance and Joint Commission readiness.
• Provide approximately 25% direct inpatient staffing coverage.
• Assist with pharmacy operations and workflow as needed.
