Responsibilities

• Verify inpatient medication orders via CPOE.
• Provide verification and oversight of sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous compounding.
• Attend and support codes as needed.
• Pharmacotherapy consultations and clinical support for nursing and provider staff.

Skills

Strong time management and prioritization skills

Experience with Cerner or similar EHR

Familiarity with Pyxis or similar automated dispensing systems

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree
