Job summary

N-iX is seeking an Interim Head of Information Security to shape and lead the client’s security strategy. The role reports to the VP IT & Infrastructure and collaborates with Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams.

The temporary position (4–6 months) may be full-time or part-time, with flexibility for remote work. The candidate should bring strong technical credibility, hands-on security engineering experience, and a history of leading security initiatives in software-driven environments,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in Information Security or closely related fields.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent knowledge.
• Experience with software development organizations and cloud-based or SaaS environments.
• Exposure to security standards and frameworks such as PCI-DSS and SOC 2.

Responsibilities

• Ownership and improvement of overall security posture with measurable KPIs.
• Define and evolve the information security strategy in line with business goals.
• Establish pragmatic security standards and guardrails for secure solutions.
