Qualifications

• Strong background in corporate accounting and monthly close processes.
• Experience with cost and inventory accounting in an inventory-intensive environment.
• Ability to implement and strengthen internal controls and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close and consolidated reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Evaluate and improve cost accounting methodologies and data integrity.
• Improve inventory valuation, reserves, reconciliations, and controls.
• Review standard costs, variances, freight, labor, overhead, and product-cost components.
• Analyze gross margins and identify cost or profitability discrepancies.
• Strengthen balance-sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Partner with operations and commercial leadership to improve financial visibility.
• Provide hands-on leadership and support to the accounting team.
• Prepare the organization for a smooth transition to permanent Controller.
