Job summary

South Row Elementary is seeking a Long Term Substitute Grade 2 Teacher for a temporary assignment from late August 2026 through February 2027. The successful candidate will coordinate with specialists and work with parents to support student learning.

The position requires the appropriate degree and MA DESE teaching license; 1 year classroom experience is preferred. Citizenship or work authorization is required. Salary is daily and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• BA degree required; BA in Early Childhood or Elementary Education preferred.
• MA DESE Teaching License for the subject and grade level is required.
• 1 year classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts with specialists assigned to provide additional specific services.
• Confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment.
• Assist and guide ancillary personnel.
• Attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed.
