Duration: 3 Months (Onsite at School Campus) with potential to go longer

We are seeking an experienced Interim Controller to support our client, a well-established education institution in Philadelphia. This hands-on role requires a finance professional with a strong background in accounting and financial operations, ideally within the education sector. The Interim Controller will oversee daily accounting functions, assist with month-end close, budgeting, and financial reporting, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards.

Pay Rate of 50.00 - 65.00 p/hr DOE -

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with school leadership and administrative staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of accounting/controller experience; education industry experience is needed
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to work independently and onsite at the school campus in Philadelphia
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Note: This is a full-time, onsite role for a 3-month period with potential to go longer with immediate availability preferred.
