Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid teaching license; ESL endorsement preferred.
• Fluent in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in English.
• Experience supporting English learners and coordinating ESL services.

Responsibilities

• Establish a district ESL program vision and plan.
• Coordinate, supervise, and support the ESL program and personnel.
• Ensure proper identification, assessment, service, and exit paths for ELs.
• Develop student ILPs and monitor language and academic progress.
• Attend and present professional development for ELs and teachers.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and district policies.
