Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Interim Emergency Services Manager in Arcata, CA. This travel role offers a 13-week contract with a pay rate of $130/hr and a 5x8 Monday–Friday schedule, with guaranteed hours.

As Interim Emergency Services Manager, you will oversee the ER operations, lead the department team, mentor nursing staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while collaborating closely with the broader clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of five years of ER experience
• At least two years of management experience
• TB clearance within the last 12 months
• 2 years experience in setting

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the emergency department team to deliver exceptional patient care
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize department efficiency
• Implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
• Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff
• Ensure effective communication and coordination within the department
