Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking an Interim Leader of Surgical Services to cover vacancies temporarily and assume director duties as defined by the facility. The role is contracted through Parallon and focuses on sustaining 24/7 surgical operations during transition.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing (Master’s preferred), be licensed for the placement state (Compact licensure preferred), and have prior Surgical Services leadership experience with CNOR/CSSM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's preferred.
• Past experience as a Surgical Services Manager/Director.
• Licensure in the state of placement required; Compact Licensure preferred; ability to obtain licensure in other states as needed.
• CNOR or CSSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 operations of the assigned Surgery and related Departments.
• Review and update goals, policies, and procedures; prepare operating budgets; participate in QI teams.
• Manage staffing patterns with OR leadership and supervisors as appropriate.
• Demonstrate leadership competencies: Business Acumen, Relationship Building, Trust, Coaching, Customer Focus, Communication, Execution, Quality Orientation.
• Other duties as assigned
