Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking an Interim Leader of Surgical Services in Corpus Christi, TX. The role fills vacancies temporarily until a permanent replacement is chosen by the facility, with duties defined by the hospital and contracted through Parallon.

The incumbent will lead 24/7 surgical services operations, collaborate with OR leadership, participate in multidisciplinary QI initiatives, and ensure staffing, budgets, and policy adherence while upholding high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Past experience as a Surgical Services Manager/Director.

Responsibilities

• Oversees 24/7 operations of the assigned Surgery and related departments.
• Reviews goals, policies and procedures; prepares operating budgets and participates in QI teams.
• Manages staffing patterns with OR leadership and supervisors.
• Demonstrates leadership competencies such as business acumen, relationship building, communication and execution.
• Other duties as assigned.
