Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert, is partnered with a PE-firm who is seeking an Interim Controller to join their team.This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong background in private equity environments, especially those who are familiar with Sage Intacct.

Title: Interim Controller
Location: Hybrid - Phoenix, AZ
Hourly Rate: $70.00 - $75.00/hour
Job Type: Contract (2-3 months)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close for eight separate legal entities.
• Execute multi-entity consolidation roll-ups into Sage Intacct.
• Manage foreign currency accounting for an India-based subsidiary.
• Extract data from various systems and perform bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare accurate, lender-ready financial statements.
• Collaborate with leadership to streamline close processes and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in multi-entity accounting and consolidation.
• Private equity experience preferred.
• Strong technical accounting skills with GAAP expertise.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to perform both strategic oversight and tactical tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
