Job summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting’s client is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting during a temporary engagement in Georgia. This on-site role requires a hands-on accounting professional with strong technical skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage general ledger, month-end close, and balance sheet schedules while supporting ERP-related projects, testing, and data validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, system migrations, testing, data validation, or process documentation preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Work Hours

Monday - Friday, during the 1st shift.
