Job summary

GHJ is partnering with an organization to secure an experienced Interim Controller who will provide leadership and oversight of accounting operations during a transitional period.

The role will manage the close processes, financial reporting, internal controls, and day-to-day accounting while ensuring business continuity, mentoring accounting staff, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Lead cash flow management and financial analysis efforts
• Support audit preparation and external reporting requirements
• Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff
