Job summary

LHH is partnering with a client in NYC to hire an Interim Compensation Analyst. This temporary role supports compensation planning, market benchmarking, pay equity initiatives, and compensation program administration.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with compensation data, and knowledge of compensation regulations and best practices. Proficiency in Excel and HRIS such as Workday or SAP is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of compensation, HR analytics, or related experience.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP, or similar preferred).
Strong knowledge of compensation practices, salary benchmarking, and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage large data sets in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct compensation analyses, job evaluations, and salary benchmarking.
Maintain compensation data, pay grades, and salary structures within the HRIS.
Support pay equity reviews and compensation reporting.
Review and update job descriptions to align with organizational compensation strategies.
Ensure compliance with compensation-related regulations, including FLSA and EEO requirements.
Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders on compensation inquiries and projects.
Assist with merit increases, bonuses, and other compensation program administration.
