Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for a Part-Time, Interim Commercial Counsel for an insurance technology company.
Overview: Our client seeks a seasoned and skilled transactional attorney to assist with the review, negotiation, and drafting of myriad commercial agreements.
Company: Our client is an emerging technology company which serves as a clearing house for pet insurance claims.
Experience: Five or more years’ experience acquired in a top law firm and/or in-house environment advising technology clients on commercial agreements.
Location: East Coast Remote

Responsibilities Include:

  • Review, negotiate, and draft a variey of commercial agreements, including software as a service (SaaS) agreement, service agreements, technology sharing agreements and licensing agreements.
  • Advise the Clients leadership team of legal and regulatory risks and issues arising in agreements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for the sales team.
Qualifications Include:
  1. Excellent academic credentials including a law degree from a well-respected, US-based law school.
  2. Five or more years’ experience acquired in a top law firm or in-house environment advising technology clients on commercial agreements, including SaaS.
