Job summary

Belmont Pines Hospital seeks an Interim Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing operations for an 8-9 month assignment at our Northeast Ohio facility. The CNO will collaborate with leaders to design and supervise patient care, nursing standards, and overall service delivery across inpatient, residential, and outpatient programs.

The role requires an RN license in Ohio (or multi-state) and a nursing doctorate or master’s with psychiatric nursing leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a graduate degree in nursing and active RN licensure in Ohio or multi-state.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing plus four years of psychiatric nursing experience.
• Psychiatric nursing experience includes care for patients with primary psychiatric diagnoses.
• Voluntary certification in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health nursing clinical practices and management.
• Extensive knowledge of nursing principles and patient care activities.
• Strong management and supervisory skills with written and verbal communication skills.
• Five+ years of progressive nursing management experience in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in facility leadership functions and collaborates on designing and supervising patient care and services.
• Establishes and ensures implementation of nursing standards of patient care.
• Provides oversight and supervision of the Director of Nursing.
