Mount Aloysius College, repeatedly recognized by ModernThink as a “Great College to Work For,” invites applications from highly qualified individuals to join our team of faculty in the Ultrasonography Department for a temporary, full-time appointment asInterim Clinical Coordinator,beginning October 5, 2026 and ending in mid February, 2027.

Current Opening

This open position offers a temporary, full-time faculty appointment consisting of primary coordinator and teaching obligations. Faculty are expected to have a regular presence on campus to engage with students both inside and outside the classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical coordination, teaching (labs and introductory theory courses as needed), and work related to students in the Ultrasonography Program. Candidate responsibilities will focus on coordination of clinical sites, but will also include instruction and evaluation of students and clinical affiliates. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating clinical education, evaluate and ensure the effectiveness of clinical experiences; and provide clinical instruction and document the evaluation and progression of clinical performance leading to clinical competence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in medical imaging field required; and must possess Ultrasound credentials in Abdominal, Breast and OB/GYN. Candidates who are credentialed in Adult Echocardiography, in addition to Abdominal, Breast, and OB/GYN, are also welcome to apply. Two (2) years of full-time sonography experience required as well. Teaching experience in the clinical setting preferred, especially ultrasound. In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills; and be proficient in computer technology to include Microsoft Word and Excel. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality required. Reports to theUltrasonography Department Chairperson.

Due to the temporary nature of this position, neither benefits nor paid holidays will be offered.

This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time; all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of their application.
