Job summary

Value Driven Solutions, Inc. seeks a seasoned IT executive to lead ERP consolidation across multiple manufacturing sites. You will manage ERP selection, migration, and cutover with a schedule set by the sponsor, and you’ll report to the board on governance and progress.

This contract role lasts 9-18 months, offers day rate plus expenses and expects travel Monday to Friday across CONUS; you have prior success delivering ERP programs under pressure without disrupting shipments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT leadership with CIO/CTO/IT VP accountability.
• Led at least two full ERP implementations or migrations end-to-end in manufacturing.
• Experience consolidating multi-site, multi-entity systems.
• Genuine manufacturing process understanding including MRP.
• Budget control and vendor negotiation authority at scale.
• Ability to say no to scope creep when timelines cannot absorb it.

Responsibilities

• ERP selection, migration, or consolidation across multiple sites with a unified ERP.
• Program governance, budget and timeline with direct board and sponsor reporting.
• Systems integration post-acquisition including data mapping and master data cleanup.
• Cutover planning and execution without disrupting production or customer delivery.
• Application rationalization and reducing technical debt.
• Cybersecurity posture, including access control, patching discipline, and incident readiness.
• IT organizational design and vendor management.
• Reporting and analytics to produce margin by product and by customer without a manual rebuild.

The mandate

The portfolio company is running on systems that cannot support the plan - often several incompatible systems following a roll-up. You lead the consolidation: a single ERP across multiple manufacturing facilities, on a schedule the sponsor set with an exit in mind.

ERP migrations are where transformation timelines go to die. You are hired because you have brought one in before, under pressure, without stopping the shipments.

What you'll own

• ERP selection, migration, or consolidation across multiple sites - SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, or similar
• Program governance, budget, and timeline, with direct board and sponsor reporting
• Systems integration following acquisition, including data mapping and master data cleanup
• Cutover planning and execution without disrupting production or customer delivery
• Application rationalization and technical debt reduction
• Cybersecurity posture, including access control, patching discipline, and incident readiness
• IT organizational design and vendor management
• Reporting and analytics capability - the ability to produce margin by product and by customer without a manual rebuild

What you bring
