Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking an experienced Interim CFO for a manufacturing client. The role is hybrid—Midtown Manhattan, NY, or NJ, with 2–3 days onsite weekly—and an 18–24 month engagement reporting to the CEO.

Compensation is $150–$165/hour+, with approximately one monthly 2–3 day trip to facilities. The candidate will lead accounting and finance, fortify controls, and partner with plant leadership to improve profitability and operational visibility.

Qualifications

• Seasoned CFO/VP of Finance with multi-facility manufacturing experience.
• Strong cost accounting, inventory management, and profitability analysis.
• Proven ability to translate financials into operational improvements.
• Experience leading accounting/finance teams and large ERP implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and finance teams across reporting, planning, forecasting, and controls.
• Collaborate with CEO and plant leadership to improve operations and profitability.
• Improve plant-level reporting for costs, inventory, margins, and drivers.
• Enhance cost accounting and inventory reporting for accurate results.
• Develop KPIs and management reports across locations.
• Strengthen forecasting, controls, and processes for efficiency.
• Lead NetSuite implementation with internal and external resources.
• Support transaction readiness with clean financial information and processes.
• Maintain hands-on presence at manufacturing facilities to drive improvements.
