Job summary

Our Lady of Grace School in Chicago’s Logan Square is seeking an Interim Principal for January–May 2027. The leader will guide faith formation, academics, and community partnerships in a Catholic elementary/middle school serving PreK–8.

The position requires active Catholic standing, a master’s degree in educational leadership or related field, CRE credential, and at least three years of experience in Catholic education.

Qualifications

• Active Catholic in good standing as required.
• Master’s degree in school administration or related field.
• CRE credential and experience in Catholic education.

Responsibilities

• Provide religious, instructional, and community leadership aligned with Archdiocesan policies.
• Oversee teachers and staff recruitment, onboarding, development, and evaluation.
• Develop and implement school improvement goals and ensure data-driven instruction.
• Foster a culture of belonging and strong Archdiocesan compliance across activities.
• Maintain open communication with pastor, board, and Archdiocesan offices.
