Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent in science or related field.

• Digital literacy; proficiency in MS Office, Google Docs/Sheets, and cloud storage; understanding of data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clear learning outcomes aligned with the Science Department's goals and school initiatives.
• Teach sixth grade science and guide the Science Inquiry Project process.
• Provide frequent, constructive feedback and assess student learning.
• Differentiate instruction to support all learners and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Advise a group of Middle School students and participate in typical independent school duties.
