Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and Tennessee educator license with relevant endorsement.
• Knowledge of Tennessee Academic Standards and elementary instructional practices.
• Familiar with RTI2, universal screening, progress monitoring, and evidence-based supports for diverse learners.
• Ability to implement IEPs, 504 plans, English learner supports, and related accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction for grades K-5.
• Prepare lessons reflecting grade-level standards and pacing.
• Administer universal reading screenings for K-3 and use data to inform instruction.
• Differentiate instruction and provide interventions based on student needs.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and specialists to support student achievement.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and assessments.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and supports.
