Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a valid Tennessee educator license with an endorsement covering the assigned work.
• Knowledge of the Tennessee Academic Standards, RTI2, and data-informed instruction.
• Experience implementing IEPs, Section 504 plans, and English learner supports.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, organizational, technology, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers standards-aligned instruction using district-approved curriculum and high-quality materials.
• Prepares lessons reflecting grade-level standards and student needs with appropriate pacing.
• Implements the Foundational Literacy Skills Plan and provides foundational literacy instruction as applicable.
• Administers universal reading screeners and uses data to inform instruction and communication with families.
• Differentiates instruction and provides interventions, enrichment, and accommodations as required by IEPs/504/EL plans.
• Maintains accurate records of attendance, grades, assessments, and communications with families.
