Job summary

St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Personal Care Worker to assist with activities of daily living for adult day care clients.

The role includes skincare, ambulation, bathing, dressing, and medication reminders, with weekend coverage in Respite Care Services. Requirements include active CNA certification, CPR training, and at least one year of experience with both children and adults.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and active CNA certification.
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience with children and 1 year experience with adults.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, social and recreational needs of adult day care clients.
• Assist in implementing social and recreational activities.
• Help with nutritional needs, personal care, and ambulation as directed by supervisor.
• Take attendance and meal counts; report special needs to supervisor.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in seminars and trainings.
• Support clients to move within the center and oversee volunteers as needed.
