Job summary

The Claremont Colleges Services seeks a Chaplain and Director of Protestant Life to lead spiritual programming, pastoral care, and interfaith activities across seven colleges. This role reports to TCCS leadership and collaborates with the Religious and Spiritual Life team to serve a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in theology or related field; ordained minister in a Protestant denomination.
• Five years of professional ministry/leadership experience in college, seminary, chaplaincy, church, or related setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual leadership, pastoral counseling, and support to Protestant student clubs and groups.
• Direct Protestant worship services and inter-faith observances.
• Develop programs that foster Protestant and interfaith dialogue and social justice.
• Coordinate outreach and communication within the consortial environment.
• Collaborate with Deans, Faculty, Alumni, and Advancement offices.
