Job summary

Advanced Medical Transport of Central Illinois in Peoria, IL is seeking Interfacility PRN EMT-Basic staff to support the Illini Medical Transport service line in East Peoria.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, transporting patients between facilities, maintaining paperwork, HIPAA compliance, and upholding safety standards. Illinois EMT-Basic license and BLS/CPR are required; drivers license must be valid.

Qualifications

• Illinois EMT-Basic license required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients per EMS protocols and physician orders.
• Ensure accuracy of all paperwork and patient contact records.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Transport patients between facilities following policies.
• Operate safely and assist paramedics in ALS situations.
