Job summary

Peraton seeks an Interface Integration Engineer to design and maintain secure integrations between IAM platforms and external systems such as ID.me, ServiceNow, and the ELK Stack. You will work at the intersection of API engineering, identity security, and observability in a federal environment.

You will design integrations with ID.me using OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML, and build ServiceNow integrations with REST APIs and Flow Designer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years.
• 5 years in integration engineering, API development, or middleware development.
• 2+ years integrating IAM or identity platforms (ID.me/Okta/ForgeRock/Ping).
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, MID Server, Flow Designer).
• ELK Stack experience incl. Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibana.
• Experience in agile/scrum environments.
• Experience in REST, JSON/XML, HTTP, webhooks, API gateways, Postman.
• Authentication & security expertise.
• Programming in Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Java, Shell/PowerShell.
• iPaaS tools proficiency.
• Networking and security experience.

Responsibilities

• Design secure integrations with ID.me using OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations via Scripted REST APIs, MID Server, Flow Designer, Integration Hub.
• Configure ELK Stack for log ingestion, monitoring, and alerting.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and middleware for cross-platform data exchange.
• Map and transform data (JSON/XML) across systems.
• Operate integrations using iPaaS tools (MuleSoft/Bo​​omi/Workato).
• Ensure TLS/mTLS and compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA.
• Troubleshoot integration, API, and data-flow issues.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate in agile teams supporting development, testing, and deployment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust level clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, or a High School diploma or equivalentand 9 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations using Scripted REST APIs, MID Server, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub
• Configure and manage ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log ingestion, monitoring, and alerting
• Build and maintain REST APIs and middleware for cross-platform data exchange
• Design and implement data mapping and transformation logic (JSON/XML) across systems
• Manage integrations using iPaaS tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato)
• Ensure secure data transmission using TLS/mTLS and compliance with federal standards (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA)
