Job summary

Oracle is seeking a System Engineer – FSI with a healthcare/IS background to monitor interface projects, provide high-level troubleshooting, and mentor team members. You will ensure project quality, maintain interface architecture, and deliver presentations to varied audiences while aligning with security and best practices.

The role requires 5 years of related experience or 3 years with a Master’s degree, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in CIS/MIS/IS/Comp Sci/Engineering/Business Admin with IS emphasis and 5 years progressively responsible related experience; or Master’s Degree (or equivalent) with 3 years related experience.
• Healthcare, sciences, or information systems background with emphasis in IS and 3 years programming experience.
• Multi-solution experience and ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitors interface project progress to assess and manage project risk and ensure quality assurance.
• Provides high level solution functionality and troubleshooting support to clients.
• Oversees interface projects by assisting and mentoring associates working with interfaces.
• Demonstrates continuous professional and technical development.
• Maintains integrity of interface architecture.
• Develops and delivers presentations in small and large group settings.
• Communicates, documents, and shares knowledge within and across team(s).
• Provides technical mentoring to team members.
• Understands dependencies and how individual contributions impact larger vision picture.
• Follows Cerner policies, upholds professional standards, and performs work in a manner respectful of others.
