Veterans shape the future of energy As an Interdisciplinary Supervisory General Engineer, you will: Direct, assign work to, and evaluate the performance of technical personnel and interns in the Operations Division. Manage oversight of the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory prime contract to ensure compliance with environmental, safety, health, and security requirements. Evaluate design specifications and safety documents to verify adherence to established safety standards. Exercise technical authority to halt facility operations when necessary to protect worker safety, public health, or the environment. Lead formal assessments and root-cause analyses of workplace incidents to ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
