Job summary

Princeton University’s PIIRS invites applications for the PIIRS Postdoctoral Fellowship Program for the 2027-28 academic year. Up to four postdoctoral fellows will be selected from recent PhDs in the social sciences to advance interdisciplinary research on international issues within a collegial campus environment.

Appointments are for one year with potential renewal; fellows must be in residence on campus four days per week, with access to a research fund of $4,000 per year, shared office

Qualifications

• Recent PhD in the Social Sciences or related field.
• Demonstrated exceptional scholarship aligned with PIIRS focus.
• Ability to engage with multidisciplinary audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and pursue independent research projects.
• Participate in biweekly meetings with the faculty director and monthly meetings with fellows.
• Contribute to departmental seminars and publish work.
