Job summary

Princeton University invites applications for the Fung Global Fellows Program, a ten-month Visiting Research Scholar residency hosted by the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS). The program selects early‑career scholars from around the world and supports research and discussion around a common theme.

Successful fellows will be in residence on campus for the 2027-28 academic year. Selected scholars must have a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. (or equivalent) generally after Sept 1, 2017.
• Current Ph.D. students or junior researchers are not eligible.
• Fellowships awarded based on research project strength, theme relevance, scholarly record, and potential contribution.

Responsibilities

• Engage in research and discussions around the theme Democracy in Crisis.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary conversations and scholarly life on campus.
