Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join an interdisciplinary clinic focused on early intervention for children with autism and their families. You will help children build motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills in a center setting.

You’ll collaborate with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians, while growing your practice and advancing clinical skills. Soar emphasizes quality care, ongoing training, and family-centered strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• Preference for 3+ years of experience, while remaining open to newer clinicians.
• Playful, engaging approach and ability to build connections with young children.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to individualized care.
• Interest in collaborating across disciplines and learning from clinicians.
• Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing.
• Mission-driven approach focused on high-quality, ethical care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate OT for children ages 2-6 in a center-based setting.
• Develop interventions supporting fine motor, gross motor, feeding, and sensory needs.
• Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and coordinate plans with ABA, speech, psychology, and others.
• Collaborate with speech therapists and clinicians including co-treatment opportunities.
• Coach RBTs to reinforce OT goals throughout the day.
• Monitor progress and adapt plans based on data and needs.
• Partner with families to set goals and share progress with practical strategies.
• Join weekly interdisciplinary care meetings to align care approaches.
