The U.S. Department of the Navy in Bremerton is seeking a professional engineer at the GS-07 level to provide maintenance and engineering support for systems used across nuclear submarines, surface ships, and other power plants.
This position requires at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the federal service, or an education substitution as noted in the qualification standards.
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer providing maintenance and engineering support for systems applicable to all nuclear submarine classes, surface ships, or other power plants (OR education substitution, see below).
GS-05: You must meet the basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual as indicated in the Education Section of this announcement.
