Job description

You will serve as a General Engineer in the LO/CLO Tech Policy and Advanced Projects, Code PMR51 of OFFICE OF NAVAL RESEARCH.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/13 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Leading complex systems development and/or the management of large-scale research and development programs, especially those involving new and emerging LO/CLO technologies;
  • Working with technical specialists from a wide variety of disciplines, to be able to translate general requirements or objectives into clear technical issues, and to formulate prioritized science and engineering plans to resolve those issues;
  • Preparing and delivering oral and written presentations to a wide variety of audiences ranging from Flag Officers, senior executives, and to the general public.
