This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Public Works - Master Planning Division, Fort Campbell, KY.

Key Responsibilities

Serve on the staff of the Master Planning Division with responsibility for managing Fort Campbell Master Plan.

Requirements & Education

In addition to meeting the Basic Requirement, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience for GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes:

Conducting studies for planning, architecture, and engineering for land uses and facilities
Assist in the formulation of construction cost estimates and economic analysis of projects.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Specialized Experience for GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes:

Developing/managing a master plan to include managing project programming;
Evaluating programs and development plans for construction, renovation, and/or improvements of real property facilities at major installations or regional communities;
Reviewing engineering project plans and facility requirements for accuracy and completeness.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
