Job summary

College of DuPage is seeking a Clerical Assistant for Intercultural Student Initiatives (FWS Only). The role supports promoting cultural awareness and inclusion on campus and provides information for courses, events, and locations. The student will assemble mailing packets and assist with department projects during peak enrollment periods.

Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits in Fall/Spring or 1 credit in Summer, with a 2.0+ GPA; Federal Work Study eligibility required for hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring or 1 credit hour for Summer.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above; first semester GPA waiver.
• Eligible for Federal Work Study funds must be hired as FWS employee.

Responsibilities

• Assist department with promoting cultural awareness and unity at College of DuPage.
• Provide information and directions in person or by phone about courses, workshops, events, and locations.
• Assemble mailing packets and assist with department projects as needed.
