Position Purpose

The individual in this role will lead procurement of the Intercompany import portfolio, including Seasonal and Everyday products. As the Import Supply Planner, they will act as the company's procurement specialist for Intercompany Imports, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and maintaining relationships with Lindt's Subsidiaries/Group. The role involves managing inventory effectively to meet US customer needs, optimizing fulfillment rates, profitability, and minimizing excess and obsolescence. The person will also help optimize procurement processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.

This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week at our Stratham, NH office.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

Intercompany Purchase Order Processing

• Plan and manage forecasts and purchase orders in SAP and SAP APO for Intercompany finished goods, packaging, bulk components, and raw materials to support various customer segments.
• Maintain and update a rolling 12+ month order forecast (ROFO) for each Lindt Subsidiary, reflecting supply needs based on inventory and demand.
• Maintain PIRs and Source Lists in SAP for all Intercompany import items.
• Coordinate product delivery to support timing for relabeling and repacking to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing and New Products teams on new imported items and collections.

Planning, Analysis, Forecasting, and Reporting

• Establish inventory strategies to ensure service levels while minimizing excess for Seasonal and Everyday import items.
• Maintain a master list of all items managed by Intercompany planning and buying.
• Gather and utilize sourcing data for accurate local item setup and data integrity across systems.
• Identify constraints, manage exceptions, and develop metrics for continuous improvement.
• Optimize intercompany lead times to reduce supply chain costs and risks.
• Support the annual budgeting process and upload final numbers to SAP APO.
• Report on ROFO details and compare with budget monthly.

Communication and Execution

• Manage relationships with global Intercompany suppliers and team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to address risks, resolve issues, and seize opportunities.

Communicate and report irregularities and quality claims promptly to ensure supply plans meet demand.
