Job summary

IXL Learning in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Production Specialist to turn written K-12 content into engaging online lessons. You will format content with the Content Production team, implement edits quickly, and ensure high-quality output while coordinating across multiple projects.

The role blends editorial precision with basic web tech, including HTML/CSS, XML, and in-house tools, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, English, math, or related field.
• Ability to quickly master guidelines, software, and code; familiarity with HTML/CSS and/or programming preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail; proofreading/editing experience preferred.
• Creative eye for formatting and design; graphic design experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, LEFT/RIGHT/MID) a plus.
• Prior coursework in computer programming a plus.
• Passion for improving education through technology.

Responsibilities

• Learn XML basics and our in-house production and scripting tools.
• Format content written by curriculum design into interactive lessons.
• Rapidly implement edits to ensure high-quality content.
• Participate in additional projects such as PDF creation, image formatting, audio testing.
• Spot and resolve project inconsistencies with sharp attention to detail.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Create guidelines, processes and documentation to support a growing team.
