Job summary

IXL Learning, a leader in personalized learning, is seeking a Production Specialist in Raleigh, NC to convert K-12 content into interactive online lessons. You’ll work independently and with multiple teams to bring content and features to life in a fast-paced office setting.

Responsibilities include formatting content with XML and in-house tools, editing for quality, and supporting PDF creation, image formatting, and audio testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in mathematics, English, education or related field.
• Ability to quickly master new guidelines, software, and code; familiarity with HTML/CSS and programming preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail; proofreading/editing experience preferred.
• Creative eye for formatting and design; graphic design experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel knowledge (VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, LEFT/RIGHT/MID) is a plus.
• Prior programming coursework is a plus.
• Passion for improving education through technology.

Responsibilities

• Learn XML basics and our in-house production and scripting tools.
• Format content written by curriculum design for interactive lessons.
• Rapidly implement edits to ensure high quality.
• Participate in PDF creation, image formatting, audio testing, etc.
• Spot and resolve project inconsistencies and questions.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with quality output.
• Create guidelines, processes, and documentation to support a growing team.
