Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians in Georgia is seeking an experienced ultrasound professional to perform physical exams for evidence of peripheral vascular disease and to conduct noninvasive testing. You will interpret results to support patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound Program, at least 3 years of vascular services experience, and RVT or RVS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

Performs physical exams for evidence of peripheral vascular disease. Performs noninvasive testing for evidence of peripheral vascular disease including but not limited to: arterial, venous, abdominal, visceral, intracranial and extracranial cerebral vascular disease and prepares preliminary interpretation of test results.

Qualifications

Education

• Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound Program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of progressive work experience in vascular services Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Registered as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) Upon Hire Required or
• RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Registered as a Vascular Sonographer (RVS) Upon Hire Required
