Job summary

Sound Physicians in Eugene-Springfield seeks an Intensivist to join a team of 8 intensivists and 4 APPs, delivering high-acuity care in a busy regional center. This full-time role emphasizes collaboration, evidence-based practice, and leadership in critical care.

You will work 14 clinical shifts per month with a mix of day and night coverage, EPIC EMR utilization, and close coordination with hospitalists, nurses, and consultants to sustain excellent patient outcomes and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO).
• Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting.
• Work collaboratively within the ICU and across the hospital.
• Commitment to excellence in clinical service with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Not considering 2027 fellows at this time.

Responsibilities

• Care for medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiac ICU patients.
• Collaborate with daytime intensivists, APPs, nursing, and consultants to deliver high-quality critical care.
• Work with EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination.
