Job summary

Aware Inc. in Anaconda, Montana, seeks an Intensive Support and Stabilization Direct Care Professional. The role is full-time, with weekend overnights possible, and starts at $25.00 per hour, rising to $33.04 for weekend overnight shifts. A raise occurs annually on your anniversary, 5% after year one and 5% after year two.

Qualifications

• You are 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• You have a valid driver’s license and can pass a background check.
• You can be relied on to turn up for your shift, because someone is counting on you being there.
• You are patient with people on their worst day.
• You can implement Individual Treatment Plans, Behavior Management Plans, Independent Living Plans, and Personal Support Plans.
• Competence in ADLs: hygiene, grooming, feeding, toileting, mobility, and medication monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Crisis Intervention & Stabilization: apply behavior management, safety planning and de-escalation.
• Daily Living Support: assist with ADLs, personal care, feeding, and medication monitoring.
• Behavioral Coaching & Skill Building: teach coping and social skills for independence.
• Monitoring & Safety: maintain safe environments, with potential 24/7 monitoring.
• Case Coordination: collaborate with treatment teams, families and schools.
• Transportation: accompany individuals to appointments and activities.
• Documentation and Reporting: keep confidential daily progress records.
• Advocacy: uphold individual rights and promote self-advocacy.
