Job summary

Sagent Behavioral Health in Maple Grove, MN is seeking an Intensive Outpatient Therapist to provide comprehensive therapeutic services within the IOP program and outpatient setting. The role focuses on diagnostic assessments, IOP orientations, group and individual therapy sessions, discharge planning, and coordination with other clinicians.

This onsite, full-time position offers a manageable caseload with flexible scheduling, group sessions Tue-Fri 1:00–4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field from an accredited college/university.
• Must hold clinical licensure in MN (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP).
• Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment planning and clinical notes.
• Experience facilitating group therapy; experience with adult groups preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning and trauma-informed care.
• Proficient in Office 365 and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate diagnoses, create and maintain treatment plans, conduct safety assessments and discharge planning.
• Provide individual therapy and facilitate group therapy for IOP clients for about half weekly billable hours.
• Provide therapy for Outpatient clients (individual/couples/family/group) for about half weekly billable hours.
• Attend clinical staff meetings and trainings, including weekly IOP rounds and monthly IOP team meetings.
• Maintain caseload to meet billable expectations and collaborate for care coordination.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and support care coordination within a team.

Group Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 1:00–4:00 p.m. CST, with additional outpatient sessions scheduled outside of group hours to support billable service expectations.

As an Intensive Outpatient Therapist at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic services to clients within the IOP program and Outpatient setting. The role will focus on facilitating diagnostic assessments, IOP orientations, facilitating group and individual therapy sessions, discharge planning and coordinating care with other clinicians or med management providers to support clients in meeting their treatment goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement and maintain treatment plans, conduct safety assessments and crisis interventions, and complete ongoing documentation including discharge planning, leave of absence paperwork.
• Provide individual therapy and facilitate group therapy sessions for IOP clients for approximately half of weekly billable hours.
• Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy for Outpatient clients for approximately half of weekly billable hours.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings, including weekly IOP rounds meeting and monthly IOP team meeting.
• Active participation and responsibility in building/growing to maintain caseload to meet billable expectations.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to support care coordination efforts.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
• Candidates will have clinical licensure for:
  • MN: LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP
• Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes with the ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Experience facilitating group therapy sessions; experience with adult groups preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, de-escalation, suicide prevention, trauma-informed care, and coordination of behavioral health services preferred.
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems.

Compensation

We offer two pay options to meet your professional and financial goals! We have an option with a predictable base pay and another with flexible earning potential. Total compensation will range from $100,000 - $140,000 annually.

• Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as education, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location.
• Employees in these positions are W2.
