Overview

We are seeking an Intensive Outpatient Program Coordinator, sometimes referred to as a Social Worker II or IOP Coordinator in our partial hospitalization program (PHP) within our psychiatric unit. The IOP Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation, clinical oversight, and administrative management of the Intensive Outpatient Program. This role blends clinical expertise with administrative leadership to ensure high-quality, coordinated mental health care for patients transitioning from higher levels of care or requiring structured support while remaining in the community, accountable to the Director of Medical Group Operations.

Bonus Options: up to $10,000

Employment Type: Full Time

Shifts Available: Days (No weekends)

Hours: 8hr shift – 8:00am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • Provide clinical and administrative leadership for the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), overseeing daily operations, ensuring evidence-based care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
  • Plan, organize, and guide IOP operations to ensure effective delivery of business services and continuous quality improvement
  • Supervise and support multidisciplinary staff, including therapists and case managers, through regular team meetings, training, and performance evaluations
  • Maintain program operations within budgetary parameters, optimizing resources and ensuring fiscal responsibility
  • Foster professional communication with patients, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams while upholding high standards of business conduct
  • Manage day-to-day personnel functions, including staffing, credentialing, scheduling, evaluations, and compliance with regulatory guidelines under the direction of the Director of Medical Group Operations and Integrations
  • Monitor program outcomes and documentation, ensuring timely, accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives and performance reporting
Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work
  • In states without required licensure, then current registration with State Board is required within 3 months of hire
  • In states with required licensure, license required at time of hire and must be maintained
  • One to three years work experience in a Healthcare practice
  • Minimum of one (1) year outpatient experience with emphasis in mental health care
  • Experience in working with a wide range of problems (i.e., death and dying, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness, etc.
  • Sexual Harassment training within 90 days of hire and bi-annually thereafter

Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of machines and equipment used in the Business Office area

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus

  • One to three years Management experience preferred
