The Kingdom East School District, Student Services, is seeking 2 Intensive Instructional Assistants (IIA) who are energetic and love working and playing with children ages 3 to 14 years old. The IIA position's purpose is to develop and interpret individual needs of students with disabilities by helping to create and implement behavior and/or instructional support programs with consultation with special educators and teachers. Candidates must successfully complete the ParaPro assessment or higher degree. The IIA provides observable student data that meet the IEP Program or EST goals of students with developmental delay and/or other special needs. Position will target goal-directive services to assist students in accessing instruction in a developmentally appropriate, functional and independent manner. Background check, including fingerprinting required upon employment. The pay range for this position is currently $19.95/hr.-$25.80/hr.
