Position Summary: Our Summit County office is looking for a full-time Therapist to join our IHBT - Functional Family Therapy (FFT) team. As a clinician on the FFT team, you will be specially trained in this evidence-based model focused on collaborative, integrated in-home treatment services for families with a child or adolescent at risk of or returning from out-of-home placement.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide family therapy, crisis management, and coordination of care within the Functional Family Therapy model.
- Collaborate with all family members and community stakeholders involved with the family to promote the best outcomes.
- Participate in weekly team consultation and ongoing training with FFT consultant.
- Participate in weekly individual and/or group supervision with FFT clinical supervisor.
- Provide mental health assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, substance abuse individual and group therapy, and crisis interventions as a separate small part of their caseload as needed.
Qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree and valid Ohio License in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Counseling (LSW, LPC, MFT, LISW, LPCC, IMFT) required.
- Prior experience with systemic family therapy and/or evidence-based models a plus. Work hours are flexible, some evenings and/or weekends required.
- Candidates should be familiar with the complex needs of clients who have co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders and must be competent in the provision of Family Therapy, Individual Therapy, Case Management, and a Multidisciplinary Team Approach to treatment.
