Job summary

Community House Mental Health Agency in Seattle, WA seeks an Intensive Housing Specialist to join a team delivering recovery-oriented supports for young adults transitioning to community-based housing. The role emphasizes building sustainable support networks, life skills development, and active participation in the residential environment.

The position includes shift Saturday–Monday, 3:00PM–1:00AM (0.75 FTE).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Food Handler permit required.
• Legible handwriting required.
• Ability to do simple mathematics and read charts.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance per individual treatment plans (hygiene, meals, daily skills groups, community outings).
• Coordinate client needs with appointments, community supports, and vocational services.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and document reporting.
• Supervise medication distribution as necessary and maintain client records.
• Lead group activities and assist in admission/discharge planning to housing programs.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in continuing education/training.

The schedule for this shift would be as follows:Saturday-Monday, 3:00PM-1:00AM (0.75 FTE)Our Intensive Housing Specialist will work as part of a team to provide comprehensive community supports for young adults in transition to community based supported housing programs with emphasis on recovery-oriented services.
