Qualifications

Our Summit Office is seeking a full-time licensed IHBT Therapist to serve diverse clientele in a community based setting. Grow your skills and knowledge through excellent training, team support, and supervision to maintain and advance your professional license(s). Enjoy the chance to write your own schedule to maintain your best work/life balance. Qualified candidates will have an LSW, LPC, or MFT, however, an independent license is preferred.   • Develops a therapeutic relationship with each client
  • Provides individual, group or family therapy as needed
  • Available for clinical consultation
  • Maintains ongoing frequent contact with other assigned OhioGuidestone professionals, parents or outside agency professionals assigned to case
  • Provide CPST and minor case management functions if needed
  • Assumes a strong advocacy role for clients and makes recommendations for clinical and support services needed upon discharge
  • Actively participates in all treatment conferences and meetings for the clients
  • Completes all paperwork required by the agency within designated time frames
  • Participates in agency and community meetings as needed
  • Attends conferences and workshops to maintain professional competence
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance
Performance/Physical Requirements:
  • Work environment can include an agency office, school based setting, or in the community including clients homes
  • English reading and writing skills required
  • Works flexible hours and is available for crisis management by phone
  • Computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic database usage, as well as basic typing
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree* in social work with a validOhio LSW, LPC, MFT is required
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field preferred
  • LISW or LPCC or IMFT is preferred
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License,proof of validAuto Insurance,and asafe driving record required
*Funding sources may require OhioGuidestone to hire an advanced degree
