Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Medical Center is seeking an ICU Technician for a part-time evening shift. You will support the nursing team at the bedside, entering rooms with care, and assisting with phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring and glucose testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year current Nursing Attendant experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant.
• Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring and glucose testing.
• Enter rooms with care to comfort patients and families.
• Collaborate with nurses and attendants to maintain high standards of patient care.

Required Criteria

Salary Range:

$29.93-$32.07/Hourly
